May 22, 2008Global production of turbochargers for light passenger vehicles increased by almost 400% from 1995 to 2005, mainly due to increased applications in diesel engines.
Until relatively recently, turbochargers were primarily employed in high performance applications, boosting the output of already high power engines. With the advent of direct injection diesels in passenger cars, the potential of turbochargers to improve power density for economy reasons began to be exploited, particularly in Western Europe, which has accounted for around three-quarters of the growth in demand.
My client who is a major player in this field, is growing their tubocharger Sales and Application Team to cope with demands. Based in Southern Germany, with excellent benefits and prospects there are 4 positions available:
- Account/Project Manager - Passenger Cars x2
- Account/Project Manager - Commercial Diesel
- Turbocharger Application Engineer
